Chef's Stroke of Genius
How does one best experience a large city? What are the things that offer those sensory explosions in a metropolis... yet allow us to still appreciate the finer details? We'd take a guess that these things cannot be appreciated whilst sitting in a car, looking desperately for a space to park.
Perhaps when you are
a) Rolling through bustling city streets on a bike?
b) Lapping up the sights, smells and cultural melting pot of a large town?
Now you are going to meet Morten Kryger Wulff. He's a Copenhagener and a chef, combining, in a stroke of genius, those two experiences.
In 2014, Morten went about building a kitchen on the front of his Bullitt.
Take a look at this image, his kitchen is incredibly well organized, everything has it's place. With this Bullitt-kitchen creation, Morten is able take his pedal-powered guests around Copenhagen's most beautiful, and often quite secret spaces to enjoy a serving. The Bullitt based kitchen obviously sets some limits and creates some challenges regarding packing and cooking. Yet Morten always manages to serve original, delicious and more-often than not, dishes with very locally sourced ingredients.
Morten has two Bullitt based kitchens, one with and one without electric assist. The bicycle chef describes how his Bullitt kitchen has become a tourist attraction and generates much discussion amongst visitors and guests... "Why the hell haven't we got a Bullitt chef at home!!?"
The concept of biking on a planned route, eating delicious dishes in beautiful locations can be developed and we warmly encourage you to explore the possibilities...
