Bullitt – For everyone
Wondering if we really do mean for everyone? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We’ve measured from saddle to crankbox to make sure you can see exactly how versatile a Bullitt is. And that’s not the only part that can be adjusted. We also have shorter and longer stems, a stem lifter to give you a more or less upright riding position, and a variety of handlebars, all to ensure you can fit the Bullitt to your comfort and riding style.
We at Bullitt are all heights, short and tall, and all ride a Bullitt comfortably. But we like to help our riders have absolute confidence in their purchase. So…if you have any concerns about the fit for you, you can take a look at the measurements below for saddle height. Leg length is the best determining factor so, get out a tape measure, measure your inner leg and compare them to the numbers below.
Minimum and maximum saddle height
The minimum saddle height on an Original Bullitt is 580mm and 590mm on an eBullitt, with the race saddle, standard crankarms and 350mm seatpost. This is measured from the top surface of the saddle to the middle of the crankset.
The maximum saddle height on a Bullitt is 850mm with the standard saddle, crankarms and a 430mm seatpost. This is measured from the top surface of the saddle to the middle of the crankset.
To find your correct saddle height, take your inner leg measurement in mm and multiply it by 0.883.
This is called the LeMond method and is meant for road bikes. For everyday riding you will most likely want the saddle a little bit lower (subtract 10-30mm) for better comfort and control.
What about reach?
Our stem lengths vary between 45mm and 90mm and our assortment of handlebars means that there is a reach for anyone. The cruiser bar brings the handlebar reach much closer to you, whilst the flat handlebar is going to require the longest reach. Finally, you can move the saddle to its most forward position to bring you even closer.
Do we have you convinced?? If you really are still in doubt after that, we highly encourage everyone to take a test ride (actually we encourage that regardless) to truly feel and understand the versatility and ease with which the Bullitt rides.
