Built around the daily realities of riding with children.

The Kiddo combines Shimano's 6100 drive system with a protective Kiddo Canopy, seating for two children and a steering setup designed for a more relaxed, upright riding position. The result is a cargo bike that feels stable, comfortable and easy to live with, whether you're heading to daycare, school or the supermarket.

Like the eBullitt 6100, it delivers smooth, quiet assistance up to 25 km/h and has all the support most families need for everyday riding. The difference is that every part of the package has been configured with passengers in mind.

Simple, dependable and ready for family life.

Features & Specs

Frame

The Bullitt’s geometry has been designed specifically to maintain good handling with weight in the cargo area whilst the compact rear end and short chainstay keep handling nimble. The steering system keeps turns precise and the height of the cargo area means that the centre of gravity is low, while ground clearance isn't compromised.

The industry-leading and standard-setting split frame construction is made from 7005-T6 aerospace-grade aluminium and thoroughly tested at independent lab facilities in Germany. This design is made to last and has been proven in demanding commercial use since 2008.

Fit & Adjustments

The Kiddo e6100 comes with a fixed handlebar height, 0mm stem and backswept Laidback handlebar, allowing for a shorter reach and upright riding position. The setup fits a wide range of riders*. The grips are our ergonomically shaped eBullitt grips for comfort and control.

The seatpost on the Kiddo has a setback of 15mm to optimize the riding position. It’s 400mm long, meaning the saddle height can be adjusted from approximately 610mm to 860mm. You can estimate your saddle height, by multiplying your inseam measurement with 0.883.
All Bullitts use industry standard Ø 31.6 mm seatposts.

The Kiddo is equipped with the Cruiser saddle, our widest saddle, with just the right amount of padding for comfortable cruising.

*Note that very tall riders, above 190cm, might find the Kiddo setup too compact.

Kiddo Cargo Platform

The Kiddo is built on the same frame as our standard-length eBullitts. The low centre of gravity and long wheelbase that have made the Bullitt a favourite among cargo bike riders around the world are all here, providing predictable handling and stability whether you're carrying cargo, passengers, or both.

Unlike other Bullitt models, the Kiddo comes with a dedicated passenger setup as standard, including the Honeycomb Board, Twin Seat and Kiddo Canopy. It's a purpose-built solution for carrying children, built on a platform that has been refined over nearly two decades of daily use.

The dimensions of the Bullitt platform remain unchanged since the first Bullitt rolled out of the workshop: 710 mm long at the base, 824 mm at the top and 466 mm wide. Some things don't need fixing.

Drive Unit

The Shimano STePS 6100 is a dependable and energy-efficient drive unit designed for consistent support in daily use. Delivering up to 60 Nm of torque and assist up to 25km/h, it offers smooth, natural assistance across a range of riding conditions.

Built on the same platform as the high-end EP series, the STePS 6100 shares key technologies like intelligent pedal assist and customizable power profiles, but at a more accessible price point. Its quiet operation and low weight contribute to the Bullitt’s precise handling and balanced feel – ideal for riders who want reliable performance without complexity.

Battery Capacity

The Kiddo is available with the largest 630 Wh battery from Shimano.

Wh (watt-hours) is simply a measure of how much energy the battery can store. More Wh means more assisted riding between charges.
How long a charge lasts depends on many factors, such as the assist level, weather conditions, load and terrain.

The 630 Wh battery adds extra capacity for heavier loads or less frequent charging. Perfect for the busy everyday of family life.

The battery is mounted on the steering tube and are locked using a high quality lock cylinder from ABUS, that can be paired with other One Key ABUS bike locks, so you only need a single key to unlock your bike.
You can browse our lock options in the Options section of the Bike Builder.

Brakes

We use Tektro 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes on the Kiddo because they offer controlled modulation for comfortable and predictable braking.
A 4-piston brake gives you a bit more control where it matters. Not just more power, but a steadier, more predictable feel at the brake lever. That’s useful for both adjusting speed and stopping where and when you want to.

All our bikes run 180 × 2.3 mm rotors. It’s a size and thickness that fits the job. The 180 mm diameter gives enough leverage, and the 2.3 mm rotor adds durability and helps keep braking consistent when used repeatedly.

It’s a solid setup for comfortable, stable and predictable everyday riding with passengers.

Extended Warranty

Bullitt bikes are built to work. That’s why every frame comes with a 5-year Larry vs Harry warranty. No registration. No heroic storytelling. Just a properly built frame, meant for everyday riding, heavy use and real life. Just keep your original receipt somewhere safe (a bankvault, a drawer, taped to the fridge – your call).
The extended warranty applies worldwide, for private and professional use. For more information on the Larry vs Harry warranty, visit our FAQ or Terms & Conditions.

Sunshine, Showers and Sidewinds

The Kiddo Canopy offers reliable, weatherproof protection for up to two children – in all kinds of weather.
Durable, weatherproof Cordura fabric keeps rain, wind and cold at bay. The coated top cover with welded seams adds reliable waterproofing where it counts.

For warmer days, rolling up or removing the top cover allows plenty of airflow and makes it easy to lift small children in and out of the seat. The rear cover of the Kiddo Canopy can be unzipped and tucked under the top cover allowing fresh air in while still protecting passengers from the elements. It also lets the rider see and communicate with the children inside.
Waterproof zippered side entrances let children climb in and out by themselves, making everyday use smoother for both riders and passengers.

The Kiddo Canopy is taller than our standard Bullitt Canopy and can fit children up to 36 kg and around 150 cm tall.

More Than Just a Roof

The canopy is built around a sturdy aluminium roll-cage that adds an extra layer of protection. Large, clear windows provide good visibility in all directions, giving passengers a comfortable sense of space and a clear view of the world rolling by.

The canopy features reflective panels on the side and red reflectors on the rear corners for safety.
A rear panel with integrated storage pockets and a storage space behind the Twin seat backrest, provides ample space for carrying locks, rainwear, tools and other practical essentials you want close at hand.

Built for daily transport, changing weather and growing passengers, this is protection you can rely on, without losing the Bullitt feeling.

Outside width: 650mm
Height from seat to roof: 760mm

Built to Grow

The Twin Seat is designed for years of daily use. The seat itself is made from durable moulded foam that won't absorb water, making it easy to live with in the real world of wet jackets, dirty shoes and unpredictable weather.

Designed to fit perfectly with the Kiddo Canopy and Honeycomb Board, it creates a sturdy, secure and practical setup for carrying one or two passengers. The harnesses can be mounted either side for two passengers or centrally when carrying one.

Children have a habit of growing. Fortunately, the harness system can keep up. Shoulder attachment points can be repositioned as children get taller, while the hip attachment points can be adjusted for a secure fit. Two harness versions are available: a red harness for children between 9 and 22 kg, and a grey harness for children between 22 and 36 kg.

Gearing

Nexus 5-speed Di2 Chain

Internal

The Shimano Nexus 5-speed internal gear hub paired with a traditional chain offers a durable, low-maintenance drivetrain designed for city commuting. This setup provides a simple, reliable ride and combines the robustness of internal gearing with the familiarity of a chain, making it a great choice for riders who want a classic bike feel without the higher maintenance demands of external derailleur systems. The 5 internal gears give a broad enough range to handle flat roads, moderate hills, and loaded riding without the complexity of too many closely spaced shifts.

Colourways

Bollocks

It’s rebellious, loud and impossible to ignore in bright yellow – it’s the ‘Bollocks’. A colourway with punk energy running through it, inspired by the raw spirit of the late 70s, when volume and attitude mattered more than polish. The name comes from a nod Larry & Harry simply couldn’t resist: Never Mind the Bollocks.

Colourways

Race

Inspired by British Racing Green – the colour once wrapped around Grand Prix Jaguars, Bentleys and other fast things with oil under their fingernails. The ‘Race’ carries that same feeling of speed and elegance. A deep green that looks equally at home outside a café, on a bike lane, or leaning against a workshop wall.

Colourways

Classic

Classic, elegant, discreet – a colourway that turns heads without ever asking for attention. Less decorated, more distinguished than ever. Black is still the new black, and understatement travels further than noise.

Colourways

Moondog

In Denmark we have a name for a specific shade of dark blue; we call it Kongeblå – Kingsblue. It’s royalty, duality and a touch of weirdness – it’s the ‘Moondog’. Named after the Hipster Viking himself, the blind composer and street performer who wandered 6th Avenue in New York dressed like a Norse myth and sounding like nothing else on earth.

Colourways

Lizzard King

No snake oil here – just a matte green Bullitt with plenty of attitude. The ‘Lizzard King’ balances laid-back cool with a slightly wilder side, exactly the kind of duality we enjoy around here. A nod to Jim Morrison, ZZ Top, and anyone who thinks a cargo bike doesn’t have to look sensible to do sensible things.

Controls

The E6100 setup features glove-friendly switches and a clear, easy-to-read display. It offers intuitive operation and essential ride information – ideal for daily cargo riding.

Why the Kiddo Feels Different

The Kiddo shares its frame with our standard-length eBullitts, but the riding position is quite different.

To make room for the taller Kiddo Canopy, the cockpit was redesigned around a more upright riding position. The handlebar sits directly on top of the steering rod using a 0 mm stem, while the 650 mm Laidback handlebar with 45° backsweep reduces reach and keeps the rider comfortably behind the canopy rather than leaning into it.

The steering setup was redesigned as well. The balljoint is mounted in the inner hole and the steering linkage has been shortened, resulting in smoother, more progressive steering that requires less input at the handlebar.

The Cruiser saddle and 15 mm setback seatpost complete the riding position. Relaxed, upright and well suited to the sort of riding a Kiddo tends to do. Less sprinting between traffic lights, more conversations at traffic lights.

The result is a Bullitt that feels familiar, but not identical. The frame is the same. Much of what sits above and below the cargo area is a little different.
