Washing your Bullitt
The Bullitt is generally built like a tank and can endure a pretty painful existence. Still there’s no doubt that salt on the roads is rough-even for a Bullitt.
Frequency:
Every two weeks while the salt is present on the roads and bike lanes.
Method:
1. Wash your bike with clean warm water
2. Use a dry cloth to take off excess water
Note:
Even when the roads are not covered in salt, its a good idea to keep the bike clean and sparkling to minimise long term maintenance. Avoid power washing around bottom bracket or hub bearings however, as blasting grease out will result in higher replacement intervals.
