These things do not break

We’re adding another 3 years of extra warranty on top of the existing two, to every Bullitt frame out there, for all original buyers.

That's 5 years of warranty from purchase. On every Bullitt frame, electrified or not. And we're doing it completely free of charge. You won't have to do anything. We're not asking for anything - not even your data. Every Bullitt sold from this day forward will have 5 years of frame-warranty from the day you buy it and bring it home. If you bought your Bullitt within the last 5 years, no worries - this also applies to yours, so long as you are the original owner.

Why do this?

Well, why not?

When we were discussing this, we had a meeting. Then we had another one. And after having gone in circles a few times, weighing, calculating - Harry slammed his hand on the table and uttered the words "these things do not break". Okay, he didn't actually slam the table, and the whole ordeal was pretty calm - but we're painting a picture here...
Anyways, he did in fact say those words, and as far as everyone can tell - it's true! That's what the data says, that's what we've seen, and that's what Bulliteers have proven every single day.

Larry vs Harry, Bullitt, Cargo bike Larry vs Harry, Bullitt, Cargo bike
When Bullitt frames do break, it usually involves a collision with a tank, or perhaps the head of a sledgehammer, applied multiple times.

The Bullitt is an investment, and we know it's not a cheap bike. However, we believe that the Bullitt's price point is justified by its sheer longevity, and by the tons of Bullitts out there still riding after more than a decade.

The Bullitt frame is always being optimized, developed and tested, and we're confident in saying that at this point: These things do not break within a mere five years, and if someday that were to happen - it would be due to some sort of error in production that we have not seen before, meaning that, no matter if it’s been 2 or 5 years, we don’t believe that would be what you had paid for.

We want all soon-to-be Bullitteers out there, who have not yet experienced the Bullitt's durability, to feel the same assurance as those of us who have ridden them for years - and if a five year warranty can help with that, then we'd like to do it.

It's extremely important to us that we keep pushing for general cargo bike safety. While the cargo pros out there will of course know that there is a huge difference in safety, quality and durability across different types of cargo bikes, we have a constant concern about the impact of those of our competitors who create sub-par quality bikes.

Not only is it dangerous for the individual customer who buys such a cargobike, without having any way of knowing about the lack of safety, but also, this lack of quality should not be allowed to tarnish the entire cargo bike category. A category that can do so much for families, the environment, city logistics, etc.

That’s why we're always pushing to move the goalpost for what a cargobike is, to put build quality in the center, and why we're constantly advocating for certifications, safety standards and quality requirements across the whole market.

We're currently in the middle of undergoing a new set of tests, and they have, as of now, only confirmed what we already knew. These things do not break.

(Please note: our lawyer says that it's a bad idea to write "These things do not break" But like... it's true!? Anyways if you wanna read the BORING, legally binding stuff it's all in part four of our terms of service. Here's the link: https://larryvsharry.com/policies/terms-of-service)
