Description
A simple narrow-wide chainring designed to convert your Deore 20 mountain goat setup to a reasonable roadrunner.
We've taken the freedom to tick off a few boxes that felt rather natural, like; 7075 alu, 42t size, N/W teeth, and anodized black to not seek attention on the fact you're not gonna conquer Mount Ventoux the next few weeks.
- Bike compatibility: Original Bullitt with Deore 20 groupset
- Crankset compatibility: FC-M4100-2 (and other cranksets with 96mm asymmetric spiders, SI.Shimano.com - mtb-crankset )
- Size: 42t - one size fits most.
- Offset: 0.0mm (to center the chainring better over the commonly used sprockets)**
- Teeth shapes: narrow-wide (to keep the chain on when hammering down the cobblestones of Berlin because you should've been somewhere else 5 minutes ago)
- Colour: Anodised shiny black
- Material: 7075 aluminium
**As with most, it's determined by real-world use, good/bad habits, geography, terrain, lunch portion, and the weight of the goods you're carrying.
Installation:
- Uninstall: gear cable for front derailleur, left shift lever, front derailleur, chainrings
- Check while you're at it: chain + cassette and bottom bracket wear, amount of spacers on bottom bracket for optimal chain line.
- Install: Bullitt NW chainring + longer/new chain.
