Handmade Willow Basket for Bullitt & eBullitt X

Crafted by hand in North Yorkshire by master basketmaker John Taylor, this custom willow basket brings timeless craftsmanship to your Bullitt. John has been making baskets since the 1960s, continuing a family tradition that began in 1867. Each basket is made from locally grown, hand-harvested willow — soaked, shaped, and woven with care to fit your Bullitt perfectly.

More than just a cargo solution, this basket is part of a living tradition. Each one is unique, reflecting the natural variation of the materials and the hand-made process.

Care Instructions:
Although it’s sturdy by construction, it should not be left wet. If the basket does get wet, dry it thoroughly under cover — do not try to dry it using heat. To keep your basket in great condition, apply a light coat of boiled linseed oil once a year. Only a small amount is needed, and after oiling, the basket should dry out for a few days before use.

Before You Load Up

• The basket does not include mounting hardware.
• We recommend wide zip-ties to not pinch the willow, and to rest assured it won't shake off when riding gravel to that special picnic spot.
• The basket can also be placed on top of the honeycomb to keep the setup flexible.
• Remember to distribute your cargo evenly in the basket to minimize the stress on the willow.
