Larry vs Harry x Miss Bullitt
A DAY WITH MISS BULLITT
Scroll to follow
Miss Bullitt is the nickname of Harry’s daughter Lulu, and this one isn’t from Larry - nor is it from Harry. This one’s from Miss Bullitt herself.
Follow along and level up, as Lulu takes you on a trip through Copenhagen and through the story of Miss Bullitt. Learn the lore behind the graphics and stay sharp as you go through the levels. Discover how the name, the colour, and the decals came to be, and see some of the places in Copenhagen that we love. We let Miss Bullitt herself direct the shoot and the day.

LEVEL 1: PINK
Lulu meets us in front of her nail saloon
What better way to learn about the origins of the Miss Bullitt than in Lulu’s own shop? The hottest, pinkest spot in Copenhagen, owned and operated by Miss Bullitt aka Lulu herself.
We arrive at 10 in the morning at Lulu’s nail salon accompanied by Fanny, a family friend and Bullitter since day one. The plan is simple: Pink nails. Pink like Harry’s helmet, and Lulu’s shop. Pink is Harry and Lulu’s favourite colour, and you’ll rarely see either of them without at least something in that colour. This is why it was always obvious that a pink Bullitt would have to exist. Oh, and Lulu asked her dad for one.

LEVEL 2: CHILDHOOD MEMORIES
A quick stop at the flagship
As we move on through Copenhagen, we of course have to stop by the Flagship store. Riding by and not saying hi is a crime, and the mechanics obviously had to see the new Miss Bullitt for themselves.
Lulu grew up around the shop, and the first Miss Bullitt referenced her, not only in name (we’ll get to that) but also in its graphics and decals. It sported soapy bubbles, all over its frame and referenced the childlike memories of blowing bubbles in the garden on a warm summer's eve.

LEVEL 3: A NAME STUCK IN THE 80s?
afk
As we make a quick stop on Dronning Louises bridge, a look over the lakes calls for reflection. All eyes of the bypassers are on the three people posing with their hot pink bikes, adorned with the text Miss Bullitt. One could almost imagine one of these people asking the question:
"Honestly guys, you have a pink Bullitt and you call it Miss? Are we really still saying girls like pink and boys like blue?"
The answer is a resounding no. The Bullitt is named after the person that inspired the pink Bullitt, and loves its colour the most. Well, one of them - Mister Bullit aka Harry, already has his name on the company and Missis Bullitt prefers blue, and rides Moondog. So it became Miss Bullitt, an homage to the person that asked for the pink bike, the person that grew up in a Bullitt. Not her gender.

LEVEL 4: THE OLD ARCADE DREAM
Game on
Next up, our most anticipated stop: Bip Bip Bar. A place many of us here at the office frequent. 80s arcade mixed with bar. What a concept. We had a few beers, played a few arcade games and took in the atmosphere. Arcades are hella cool - but why are there arcade references everywhere on the new Miss Bullitt?
Well, first of all, Larry and Harry actually wanted to open their own arcade before creating the Bullitt. Second, movies and music are everywhere on the Bullitts - it was about time that games joined the media-crew. Lastly, The Miss Bullitt bike evolves with Miss Bullitt herself, it started as a child - now it’s a teenager - and what says teenager more clearly than the sweatfilled, beeping, sodasmelling 80s arcade?

t-t-t-t-shirts!
Because apparently the bike wasn’t enough, we made T-shirts too. Three unisex designs, all produced in limited numbers – just like the bikes.

LEVEL 5:Practical + Future miss Bullitt
First light, first coffee
Writing about how the Miss Bullitt follows Lulu through the years and then ending on a visit to the historic Copenhagen hangout spot AND graveyard Assistens Kirkegård seems either very fitting or very bit grim. But that was how it unfolded on the day - and to be fair, the bike still isn’t close to having caught up to Lulu yet. Currently, Lulu is self-employed, lives in her own apartment and has graduated school. But the bike is still in its arcade teenage years. So don’t read too much into that part... We know it's weird for most people, but it's very common for us Danes to hang out at graveyards… (this is real!)
Anyway, this is where the day with Miss Bullitt ends. We’re excited for the future, and we love this colourway. The Miss Bullitt is notoriously hard to get one's hands on, and we sold out our entire stock to dealers all over the world in less than 24 hours. If you’re looking to get one, take a peek at the map below, and get in contact with your nearest dealer.
That’s it from us.
All the best,
