Why isn’t the full price listed here?
Because every Bullitt is delivered by a specialist. The recommended price gives you the base reference, but your dealer ensures the bike is properly built, adjusted, and delivered for your city, your needs, your style.

What extra costs might come up?
Setup, local delivery, or custom services. Your dealer includes what’s needed to make sure your Bullitt arrives road-ready — no wobbles, no guesswork, no shortcuts.

Why go through a dealer?
Because they’re part of the Bullitt ecosystem and because quality matters. Every Bullitt is built, checked, and delivered by people who are trusted, trained and know the bike inside out; they build, tune, and support your ride with experience and pride. From your first ride to your fiftieth upgrade, they’re your pit crew.

When you order individual parts, we are not able to build them onto a bike, they will be shipped as parts to an address of your choice.

If you don’t feel confident mounting the parts yourself or don’t like getting your hands dirty, visit a local Bullitt dealer for them to safely and surely assemble everything for you. Just be aware that there may be a charge for this.

Yes and no.

If you purchase one of our eBullitts, or have an eBullitt serviced, you should know that one of the features of your Shimano STePS drive system is that it collects information about how you are using the drive system while the system is in use.
That information can be shared with the mechanic when they service your eBullitt.

Have you lost your keys to your bike ? Getting new keys is actually quite easy!

With the purchase of your Bullitt / eBullitt you will have received an invoice and Abus key card(s), where the Abus serial number can be found.
On Abus’ website you can easily order new keys using this serial number.

If you need the battery lock cylinder replaced for your Shimano Steps battery, please contact your Local Bullitt dealer or Shimano Service Center

They should have provided you with a printed or digital(pdf) invoice.
The invoice will include the necessary details such as; Bike brand, model, accessories, frame number and, depending on what you’ve bought, key number(s) and battery number.

If you’ve ordered directly from Larry vs Harry:

1. Within a few minutes of placing your order through our webshop you’ll receive your order confirmation.
2. Our warehouse picks, packs and books your shipment(s)
3. You’ll receive your invoice and DSV track & trace by email
4. After a few days the local shipping courier will be on your doorstep with your shipment. In order for the last mile delivery courier to safely deliver your shipment they may call the phone number you’ve given to us.

NB. If you don’t receive your shipment within a few days, feel free to contact us by writing to info@larryvsharry.com and we’ll help you trace your shipment. 

Our return policy

We will gladly help you, but we have a few rules:

• Before you return the product, you have to notify us via email on info@larryvsharry.com within 14 days of receiving the product. 
• All returned items must be unaltered and include any original packaging, including all parts the item came with. We only accept returns in the original packaging.
• We will return the full amount to you, but you have to pay the cost of shipping.

When we have received your return, we’ll inspect it and transfer the amount back to your payment card or bank account. It can take 2 to 8 working days before you see the transfer.

In addition to any government-required coverage, we separately warrant our Larry vs Harry Bullitt bikes and products as follows:

• Frame: 5 years, starting with Bullitts purchased on or after January 1, 2021
• Front fork and steering system: 2 years
• Larry vs Harry branded parts and accessories: 2 years

These parts of our warranty apply whether you use your Bullitt for personal use or for your business. We believe in our products, and design them to be used every day. 

Third-party components (including but not limited to drive motors, batteries, tires, chains, spokes, pedals, grips, seat) are covered by the warranty offered by the component manufacturer.

Our Larry vs Harry warranty applies only to the original purchaser. It does not apply if you modify the frame.

The maximum system load of the Bullitt is 204 kg. That includes the weight of the bike, any equipment, the rider and cargo.

So how do I figure out how much cargo I can carry / cargo capacity ?
Easy math:

Maximum System Load –Your Bike Weight –Your Own Weight – Accessories = Your Remaining Cargo Capacity

Example:

• Rider: 80 kg
  
• Bike: ~28–30 kg depending on setup
  
• Accessories (e.g., cargo box): 5 kg
  

Your remaining capacity ends up around 89–91 kg of cargo.

Why does the bike weight differ?
Different drivetrains, cockpits and battery sizes mean the complete bike weight changes a little from setup to setup. In the specs for each Bullitt model, you’ll see a “Complete Bike Weight: from …” because the lightest build sets the starting point.

What does “Maximum System Load” actually mean?
The short version: it’s the total weight the bike is built to handle — you, the bike, your gear, and whatever you’re carrying. For Bullitts, that limit is 204 kg.

Why do we use a “system” number instead of a pure cargo number?
Because giving a single “cargo limit” would be misleading. Your weight matters. Your gear matters. Even your upgrades matter. Using one honest total keeps things clear no matter how you configure the bike.

Is 204 kg enough for heavy-duty use?
Absolutely. Bullitts are engineered for daily hauling, pro use, and “I’ll just throw this on” kind of days. The number is there for your safety and for the long-term health of the bike — not because the frame taps out early. You'd be surprised at how much 204kg actually is when you've loaded up the bike.

Can I order an eBullitt as a Speed Pedelec? / Can I convert my eBullitt to Speed Pedelec?

"Speed Pedelec" is the term for bikes which are electric assisted up to 45 km/h. We don't produce eBullitts as Speed Pedelecs, since the classification and regulations are radically different from a normal e-bike.

In short: no, not compatible. 

While the batteries look much alike, the chipset and firmware are not cross-compatible.

For eBullitt E6100 and EP800 you'll need one of these 1st gen batteries:

• BT-E8016

While the batteries look much alike, the chipset and firmware are not cross-compatible.

For eBullitt EP801 and EP600 you'll need one of these 2nd gen batteries:

We won't and can't advise on how to modify your Original Bullitt bike. Any modifications will void the warranty. 

If you want a Bullitt with electric assist we recommend choosing an eBullitt from your local dealer. Go visit them for a testride or build your desired eBullitt in our Bike Builder and send a request to your local dealer.

There are many aftermarket electric options out there but we’re not confident in recommending them to a fellow Bullitteer.
We can’t and don’t encourage modifying your Original Bullitt.
No matter how little is needed for conversion of the Original Bullitt frame to become an “E-Bullitt”, it counts as modification/alteration/hacking and therefore will void the warranty.

The Original frameset is designed, constructed, lab-tested, real-world-tested, and approved as a pedal powered cargo bike. Asking it to do something else is not something we can guarantee.

Reach out to your local Bullitt dealer for diagnosis & repair. 

eBullitt, eBullitt X:

• Rear: 26” x 1.75"
• Front 20” x 1.75"

Original Bullitt, Bullitt X:

• Rear: 26” x 1.75"
• Front 20” x 1.75"

This will give a tire clearance of at least ≥6mm when tire is inflated to Schwalbe's recommended pressure.

Actual tire width is subject to vary depending on thread/knobs, inner rim width, tire pressure and stretching over time.
You may be able to squeeze a wider tyre in but it’s not something we recommend as you won't have proper clearance for dirt and wheel flex.
If you can fit an M6 bolt in between tire and frame/fork/fenders, you got enough clearance.

Your eBullitt is programmed according to the legislation for the region that you live in.
For example, the assist limit is 25 km/h in Europe and 32 km/h in the US.

We know there is a lot out there about tuning e-bikes. However, we never recommend that you tune or "hack" your eBullitt. Your warranty will be void and will not cover you if the bike breaks down, and your insurance will not cover you, the bike or anyone else involved if you have an accident - which can cost a lot of money… Added speeds also increase wear & tear among other cons.
