This Bullitt instantly became a success, when it was introduced in 2014. But – and this was a bit of a surprise to us, maybe we should have anticipated it – it became a success not so much as a bike you could paint yourself, but as a bike that just looked cool as it was: Raw.

Planned as a wedding gift for Mark Cavendish and his wife Peta, from his Director Sportif at the time, Brian Holm, the Paul Smith Bullitt was a celebration of British and Danish friendships and relationships. Paul was brought on board to design this incredible Bullitt and threw all his energy and effort into realising a truly unique cargo bike.

In 2012, Harry packed his bags and headed south to Eurobike, the legendary annual cycling pilgrimage in Southern Germany. He had one clear mission in mind: find inspiration for a fresh Bullitt colour. In his mind, the answer seemed obvious—matte black. However, as Harry wandered the exhibition halls, he quickly recognized a hard truth: every brand had already painted their bikes matte black. Matte black had become the New black the industry’s standard. It had become too predictable.

When Bullitt made an entrance, it had to make an impression. The Bluebird was our first-ever commercialised colour, and it set the tone for what was to come.

Some bikes are built to blend in. The B-106 isn’t one of them. It’s silver, it’s shiny, sharp as a razorblade, and designed to ride fast. This bike doesn’t need to scream for attention - it just takes it. Bold, rebellious, and unmistakably Larry vs Harry, the B-106 is a tribute to everything we've built and everything we stand for.

Just as the famous pink Cadillac defined Cadillac as an outstanding automobile, the colour pink has also become synonymous with the Bullitt bike. In 2009, we introduced the first Pink Bullitt, which initially garnered attention but didn't achieve significant popularity. At least not until it was not available anymore, then the demand increased and we were asked almost daily, whether the pink bike would be available again.

In 2022, we were contacted by the legendary Italian bikeproducer Cinelli. Though we come from two different parts of the industry, we still share a lot of common ideas, when it comes to bicycles. They were very keen on making a cargobike collaboration and they wanted to do it together with the company, who has the best produced cargobike of the market. (You know who, right).
